Teaming a management degree with over 40 years of experience in the construction business, he brings astute direction and management to the table. As the co-founder and past president of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), past president of Karnataka Ownership Apartments Promoters Association (KOAPA), he is the torchbearer of the best practices and standards across the industry among leading builders in the country.
Mr. Shankar Sastri - Joint Managing Director
Shankar Sastri is the co-founder and Joint Managing Director of Sterling Developers Pvt. Ltd. As the Joint Managing Director, he directs the marketing and sales initiatives, pairing strategic acumen with industry insight. Abreast with innovation across media and information technology, he ensures growth objectives are achieved. He is the past president of CREDAI Karnataka and currently serves on the CREDAI National executive board.
Ms. Shweta Sastri - Director
Shweta Sastri plays a key role in managing the educational vertical of the company. She is the Managing Director of Canadian International School, Bangalore (CIS) – a Sterling Developers group venture. Shweta joined CIS in 2006 to further accelerate academic and fiscal performance, leading to significant infrastructural expansion and multiple awards, including CIS being ranked amongst the top 3 international schools in the country. Shweta primarily focuses on visioning and performance across all aspects of the school. Her expertise lies in education management, finance, strategy, leadership, and governance.
Ms. Anjana Sastri - Director Marketing
Anjana Sastri directs the marketing efforts of the company. She pairs her MBA degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business with her in-depth understanding of the marketing tools used in real estate to deliver unique campaigns. She looks into the sales vertical of the company and assists in sales strategies. Anjana is the CREDAI Youth Wing representative at CREDAI national for New Initiatives. She was previously the South Zone and Karnataka State Representative for the CREDAI clean city movement.
Mr. Kishore Shetty - Senior VP Corporate Affairs
Kishore Shetty is an experienced professional with over 38 years of experience in the corporate world. At Sterling, he spearheads land acquisition and land consolidation in and around Bangalore. He coordinates in obtaining all necessary approvals from the statutory authorities and plays a key role in the successful launch of new projects. He liaisons with all Government Sanction Authorities like BDA, BBMP, BMRDA, and UDD (Dept. of Urban and Revenue Ministry), Pollution Control Board, and MOEF.
Mr. B.V. Prakash - Director Engineering
B.V. Prakash spearheads the Sterling standard in engineering. He is the force behind the successful completion of Sterling projects. An inspiring presence in Sterling since 1986, he is assisted by an accomplished team of qualified and experienced engineers, some of whom have been associated with the company since its inception.
Mr. Madeshwaran Sukumar - AVP Business Development
Madeshwaran Sukumar has 18 years of rich experience in Land Acquisition and Land Consolidation in and around Bangalore. He is very well versed in all Bye-Laws of Land Acquisition and coordinates in obtaining all necessary approvals from statutory authorities. Mr. Swarup Pal - Vice President Finance & Accounts
Swarup Pal has been part of our growth curve since April 2021. He has over 26 years of expertise in the field of Accounting, Finance, Audit, MIS, and ERP. He spent his initial years in the FMCG and Courier industry and over the past 17 years he has gained experience in the Real Estate sector. Prior to joining Sterling Developers, he was associated with Godrej Properties Ltd. and DTDC Courier and Cargo Ltd.
